For Parents of Toddlers: The Independence Edit

90 minutes | Virtual or in-person
Customized digital resources provided following session

Lots of care and time is often put into keeping babies out - out of unsafe cabinets, stairwells, bathrooms, and more (and for good reason as we want to keep our little ones safe)! But as toddlerhood approaches, we coach parents on how they can begin to invite their child in - into daily routines, meal prep, self care, home chores, and more. When toddlers are safely involved in daily home life, they build their self esteem and practical life skills, while fulfilling their intense need for independence - meaning happier, calmer toddlers. We support families of toddlers with:

  • Setting up a self-care station for your child to build their independence in daily routines like getting dressed, brushing hair, brushing teeth, etc.

  • Leveraging “permanent toys” to minimize toy overwhelm while keeping things engaging for your toddler

  • Kitchen organization and product recommendations for safely inviting your child into mealtime routines

  • Creating spaces that organically offer your toddler “freedom within limits” throughout their day - helping them feel a sense of control and contentment within your boundaries

  • Identifying where visual cues like morning & bedtime routine charts should be used to create predictability and routine for toddlers, driving peace and calm for the whole family
