The Process

Discovery call

30 minutes (virtual), no charge

When a physical space is cluttered, stress levels spike and it’s easy to feel overstimulated. Visual clutter interferes with a child’s cognitive development, sense of safety, emotion regulation, and more. For parents, a disorganized home can put you in survival mode, fighting to get ahead of to-do lists, and struggling to regulate your own emotions.

Whether you’re overwhelmed by an accumulation of toys, stuck in survival mode, or seeking smoother mornings, we develop solutions that will bring peace to your home - and family.

We can’t wait to learn about your family and specific pain points so we can get to work tailoring personalized recommendations to get you on your way to home harmony.

Action Plan meeting

in-person (available depending on location within CT): $449

During this session, we will review our recommendations in-depth with you, room-by-room. We will talk you through suggested changes to your space, product recommendations, and organizational systems. Our goal is for you to feel inspired and equipped to bring our suggestions to your home. You will leave with a comprehensive eBook with detailed instructions, visual guides, photo examples, and more. We will discuss additional services you might choose to add on to your package, such as:

  • personalized templates for your family

  • custom product recommendations that fit your space and budget

  • ordering products for your family

  • on-site support (a home walk-through or help setting up a space)

Virtual Support

ongoing, no charge

We are here with you every step of the way as you implement your plan, whether you need to text a question, call for a pep talk, or send photos to ask for input on a space or system that’s just not quite working. Expect a more formal check-in from us a month after your Action Plan meeting to hear how things are going and discuss any additional needs or answer any questions!

Meet Holly Merullo and Kelly Marques —
Co-Founders of Curated Calm

We're twin sisters, moms to young children, and lifelong believers in the power of a peaceful, nurturing home. Our passion for nurturing children runs deep, rooted in our mother’s 30-year career in early childhood education. Influenced by our upbringing, we both began our own careers in early childcare centers, while pursuing degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology, respectively. We have carried our passions for teaching, guiding, and coaching into our careers- Holly as a certified PreK through Grade 6 teacher on the shoreline, and Kelly at a global management consulting firm.

Curated Calm blends our two passions: thoughtful home design, and early childhood best practices. We believe a well-designed home, paired with simple, sustainable routines, can have a powerful impact on a child’s growth, development, and emotion regulation - and on the entire family’s well-being and happiness. Curated Calm aims to bring a greater sense of peace to family life, so the beauty of the early childhood years can be appreciated and enjoyed.
